Whytematter are delighted to be partnering with a fast-growing eCommerce consultancy that helps ambitious brands scale their online revenue across the UK and Europe.
With over 30 years' combined industry experience, our client partners with businesses ranging from growing SMEs to multi-million-pound eCommerce brands, delivering strategic advice that drives profitable online growth. As they continue to expand, they're looking for an eCommerce Growth Lead to become a key member of their growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategy, digital marketing, data and client relationship management to help eCommerce businesses grow.
The Role
As eCommerce Growth Lead, you'll work directly with a portfolio of eCommerce clients, helping them identify opportunities, develop growth strategies and deliver measurable commercial results.
This is a varied role where you'll combine strategic thinking, analytics and project management while acting as a trusted advisor to your clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage long-term relationships with a portfolio of eCommerce clients.
- Develop and implement high-growth eCommerce strategies tailored to each client.
- Provide strategic guidance across both organic and paid digital marketing channels.
- Analyse website, marketing and sales performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Carry out website audits and recommend improvements to conversion, UX and performance.
- Plan and oversee eCommerce platform launches and digital projects.
- Conduct customer research, conversion analysis and A/B testing to improve website performance.
- Produce insightful reports and dashboards, translating data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Support client pitches, proposals and new business opportunities.
- Mentor and support junior members of the team while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially minded, analytical and passionate about helping eCommerce brands succeed.
You'll ideally have experience in:
- eCommerce and online retail.
- Digital marketing across paid and organic channels.
- Google, Meta, Microsoft, TikTok, Pinterest or LinkedIn advertising.
- Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or similar eCommerce platforms.
- Digital analytics, reporting and business intelligence.
- Website optimisation, CRO and A/B testing.
- UX research and customer journey optimisation.
- Project management and client relationship management.
- Presenting insights and recommendations to clients.
- Mentoring or supporting more junior team members.
We're also looking for someone who:
- Has a proactive mindset and enjoys solving problems.
- Is confident communicating with clients and presenting ideas.
- Thrives in a fully remote environment and can manage their own workload.
- Is curious, ambitious and enjoys learning new skills.
- Has at least 3 years' experience within digital marketing, eCommerce or a related field.
