Ecommerce Growth Manager
London | Hybrid (1x a week) | £300-350/day | 3-4 month initial contract | Outside IR35
An exciting opportunity to join a major consumer-focused organisation on a high-impact ecommerce growth project. This contract will play a key role in driving digital sales performance, identifying commercial opportunities, and enhancing online customer journeys across multiple product areas. You will work with a range of stakeholders to turn data-driven insights into tangible business outcomes.
The Company
They are a well-established organisation with a significant digital customer base and a strong focus on ecommerce performance. Their digital teams are delivering a range of merchandising, pricing and optimisation initiatives to support ambitious growth objectives. They are seeking additional ecommerce expertise to help identify and prioritise opportunities that improve online sales performance. This is a collaborative environment where commercial thinking and stakeholder engagement are highly valued.
The Role and Deliverables
- Analyse ecommerce performance, digital sales trends and conversion metrics to identify commercial opportunities and risks.
- Monitor performance against targets and forecasts, providing regular insight and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Assess customer journeys and conversion funnels, identifying friction points and opportunities to improve the online experience.
- Partner with CRO, Product, UX, Trading and Insight teams to prioritise and progress optimisation initiatives.
- Support experimentation and conversion rate optimisation activity through evidence-based recommendations and opportunity sizing.
- Deliver regular reporting, forecasting, competitor analysis, optimisation backlogs and performance improvement plans.

Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience within ecommerce, digital sales, digital trading or online growth environments.
- Proven ability to analyse digital performance and convert insights into commercially focused actions.
- Experience working with ecommerce customer journeys, conversion funnels and optimisation initiatives.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Analytics and confidence using analytics platforms to inform decision-making.
- Familiarity with behavioural analytics tools such as Contentsquare or similar platforms.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation and experimentation methodologies.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Commercial mindset with experience supporting forecasting, trading decisions and growth strategies.
- Ability to take ownership of initiatives, maintain momentum and proactively drive outcomes.
