Ecommerce, Growth and Retention Manager

Newtownards, Co Down · On-site, five days a week · Full-time, permanent

This role is on site in Newtownards. It is not remote and it is not hybrid. Please only apply if you can work from Newtownards every day.

Who we are

STORIES Parfums is an independent fragrance house based in Newtownards, Co Down. We sell Eau de Parfum, hand and body care and candles, direct to customer online and through retail stockists. We are a small team. This role reports directly to the Founder and CEO, with no layer in between.

What we want

Someone to own the commercial performance of the online business — acquisition, conversion and retention, run as one system rather than three separate channels. You set the plan, you hold the numbers, and you do the work yourself. There is nobody to delegate to.

  • Trading and growth. The ecommerce plan and performance against revenue target. Weekly and monthly forecasting, with a clear explanation of any variance.
  • Retention. Klaviyo in full — lifecycle strategy, flows, campaigns and segmentation — plus subscription, loyalty and refill as retention channels. Repeat purchase rate, retention revenue and lifetime value are yours.
  • Acquisition. Paid media strategy and budgets across Meta and Google, delivered through our external agency, which you brief and hold to account. Organic search and Pinterest as discovery channels. Email list growth and the quality of the contacts acquired.
  • Conversion. Shopify trading, average order value and the online experience. Finding the friction, prioritising the fix and briefing external development support where needed.
  • Measurement. Attribution, tracking integrity and a performance dashboard that tells the truth.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
