Role Description
The Ecommerce Manager role at Gill International Ltd is a full-time, on-site position based in Leicester. The Ecommerce Manager will oversee daily online trading activities, including managing product listings, pricing, and promotions across ecommerce platforms. This role involves monitoring website performance, analyzing sales data, and optimizing conversion rates to drive revenue and brand visibility. The Ecommerce Manager will coordinate with design, production, and marketing teams to ensure accurate product information, timely launches, and consistent brand presentation. Responsibilities also include managing digital merchandising, overseeing online customer experience, and implementing improvement initiatives based on analytics and market trends.

- Strong ecommerce management skills, including online merchandising, product listing optimization, and platform administration.
- Experience in sales analysis, performance reporting, and use of analytics tools to inform trading decisions.
- Knowledge of digital marketing practices such as SEO, email campaigns, and social media coordination to support online sales.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in design, production, and marketing within a fashion or retail environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in product and pricing information.
- Proficiency with ecommerce platforms, and familiarity with inventory systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset and problem-solving approach.
- Relevant experience in fashion retail or knitwear/leisurewear and a related degree or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
