ECOMMERCE MANAGER

About Baudoin & Lange

Baudoin & Lange makes beautifully crafted, extraordinarily comfortable footwear for a discerning, international clientele. Founded in 2016, we set out to close the gap between traditional shoemaking and modern luxury — the highest quality and bespoke-grade detail, made for the way people actually live today. Our Sagan loafer defined a category and built a devoted following; we craft each pair by hand, from the finest European leathers and suedes, and we build the brand on three values: elegance, craftsmanship and comfort. We have stores in London and New York and ambitious plans to grow.

The role

This is a rare opportunity to own the online store of a growing luxury house. Working directly with the founders, you will take full ownership of our website as a commercial channel — setting the trading and conversion strategy and then rolling up your sleeves to make it happen: merchandising the store, improving the pages, running the tests, and keeping every detail to a luxury standard. You will replace our external agency and become the single owner of how our website looks, performs and sells. It is a hands-on, end-to-end role for someone who loves both the commercial thinking and the doing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What you’ll own

  • The store — product set-up, merchandising, collection and product pages, homepage and navigation, all current and on-brand.
  • Trading — the online launch and promotional calendar, and accountability for online revenue.
  • Conversion — a continuous programme to lift conversion rate, from product page to checkout.
  • Analytics — daily monitoring and reporting that turns numbers into decisions (Shopify, GA4).
  • Technology & AI — the Shopify theme and integrations, light hands-on code, external developers for bigger builds, and AI used fluently to work faster without dropping quality.
  • The luxury standard — the final eye on everything customers see online.

What we’re looking for

  • 4+ years running an e-commerce store hands-on, ideally Shopify in a premium, fashion or design-led brand.
  • Commercial and analytical — comfortable owning a revenue target and fluent in the data.
  • A track record of improving conversion, and the eye to keep a luxury site beautiful.
  • Excellent pair of eyes to know what a premium / luxury ecommerce website looks like.
  • Confident with light code (Shopify / Liquid / HTML / CSS) and fluent using AI in your daily workflow.
  • Organised, resourceful and self-sufficient — happy to be the whole e-commerce function.
