E-Commerce Manager
Salary: £27,857 to £30,997 per annum (dependant on skills & experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Sunday
Location: Crayford, DA1 4HA
As our E-Commerce Manager, you will play a vital role in leading and developing all aspects of our ecommerce operation. Reporting directly to the Head of Retail while working closely with the Superstore Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all online sales platforms, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring we maximise income through innovative and effective online selling strategies.
This is a hands-on role that requires a proactive approach, working alongside the Superstore team to support the day-to-day operation while helping to drive online sales performance and enhance the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Head of Retail and working closely with the Superstore Manager to deliver strategic and operational objectives
- Taking overall responsibility for all online selling platforms, ensuring listings are accurate, engaging, and optimised to maximise sales
- Identifying new opportunities to increase online income and expand the reach of our ecommerce operation
- Proactively working alongside the Superstore team to support the smooth and efficient running of the operation
- Recruiting, developing, and supporting staff and volunteers involved in the ecommerce function
- Collaborating with the Head of Retail to plan, manage, and monitor the annual ecommerce budget, taking corrective action where required
- Monitoring and evaluating performance, analysing sales trends, and producing reports as required
- Delivering excellent customer service standards across all areas of the operation
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience of managing ecommerce operations and online selling platforms
- Experience of leading, supporting, and developing teams
- Strong commercial awareness, with the ability to identify opportunities to increase revenue
- Experience of budget management and achieving financial targets
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A flexible and hands-on approach to work
