About AW Champion

AW Champion is a leading independent timber specialist with 10 branches across the South East, with over 90 years’ experience of supplying timber and building products to trade. We are committed to providing customers with an extensive array of high-quality timber products directly sourced, machined, and sold by us, ensuring unparalleled quality and competitive prices.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Ecommerce Marketing Specialist to help grow our online business and strengthen Champion Timber’s digital presence. This is a varied, hands-on role covering ecommerce, website content, email marketing, social media, digital design, SEO, personalisation and conversion optimisation.

You will take assigned projects and campaigns from brief through to completion, ensuring work is accurate, on-brand and delivered on time. You’ll work closely with the Ecommerce & Marketing Manager, receiving ongoing guidance and mentorship, while having the freedom to bring your own ideas, test new approaches and broaden your experience across different channels.

This role would suit someone who enjoys both the creative and analytical sides of ecommerce and marketing, and is comfortable taking ownership of their work.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
