Role & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimisation and trading of the UK and EU Theory websites, ensuring that the digital customer experience is engaging, seamless and commercially effective.
Working closely with the Ecommerce team, merchandising, marketing, CRM and customer service, you will ensure that products, content, campaign and promotions are accurately and effectively executed across sites.
This is a highly hands-on role, with strong Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience being essential.
You will be responsible for monitoring and reporting key ecommerce and site performance KPIs, using data to identify trends, opportunities and areas of improvement.

- Own the day-to-day merchandising and optimisation of the ecommerce site.
- Manage site content, product placement and merchandising to maximise customer engagement, conversion and sales.
- Manage and optimise Product Listing Pages (PLPs) and Product Detail Pages (PDPs), using merchandising rules, ensuring products are presented accurately, in the purpose to increase conversion.
- Manage site navigation, categorisation, menus and customer journeys, ensuring customers can easily discover and shop the range.
- Monitor site performance and identify opportunities to improve conversion, engagement and customer experience.
- Ensure the site is fully aligned with brand guidelines and the wider commercial strategy.
Product & Launch Management
- Manage the end-to-end ecommerce execution of new product launches, ensuring products are accurately set up, merchandised and visible at the appropriate time.
- Coordinate product launches with Merchandising, Marketing, Creative and other relevant teams.
- Ensure product information, imagery, pricing, copy, availability and categorisation are accurate and up to date. Work with the translation agency to ensure products are launched in appropriate language.
- Manage seasonal product updates and site changes in line with the commercial calendar.
Campaigns & Promotions
- Lead the onsite execution of campaigns, promotions and key commercial moments.
- Set up and manage promotional messaging, landing pages, promotional banners and relevant onsite content.
- Ensure campaign launches are delivered accurately and on time.
- Conduct regular site checks to ensure campaigns and promotions are correctly implemented across desktop and mobile, with the support of the ecommerce team.
Reporting & Performance Analysis

- Produce regular reporting on key ecommerce and site merchandising KPIs, weekly, monthly, quarterly.
- Monitor traffic, conversion, revenue, AOV, add-to-cart, product performance and other relevant onsite KPIs using GA4 analytics and Crazy Egg site performance tool.
- Analyse products and category performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use data and customer behaviour insights to make recommendations and inform site merchandising decisions.
- Track the performance of launches, campaigns and onsite initiatives and communicate key findings to the wider team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, CRM, Creative, Customer Service and Retail teams to ensure consistent omnichannel customer experience.
- Collaborate with Theory Ecommerce global teams based in NY, USA, to share best practices and keep up to date with site technical updates and roadmap developments.
- Partner with Customer Service team to improve PDP descriptions and reduce return rate, based on customer insights.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in Ecommerce Site Merchandising or Ecommerce Trading, ideally within fashion.
- Strong hands-on Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) experience.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs, analytics and conversion optimisation, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
- Highly organised, commercially minded and detail-oriented, with excellent execution and project management skills.
- Proactive and collaborative, with strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Experience with GA4, ecommerce analytics and reporting tools.
- Knowledge of SEO, onsite search and content management systems.
