About the Job
Ridgeline is a growing outdoor clothing brand, producing durable, functional gear designed for real-world use. With a strong presence across both consumer and trade channels, we’re looking for an Ecommerce Merchandising Executive to support the day-to-day running and trading of our UK website, alongside the maintenance and development of our Ireland and European websites.
Reporting to the E-commerce Manager and working closely with the IT/Website Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role across onsite merchandising, product management, ecommerce trading, campaigns, SEO, website optimisation and general site operations.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ecommerce professional to develop broad commercial experience within a fast-paced and growing business, with the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility as Ridgeline continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Merchandising & Trading
- Manage products, collections, categories, navigation, landing pages and website content across the UK, Ireland and European websites.
- Merchandise products based on stock availability, best sellers, newness, customer behaviour and commercial priorities.
- Optimise onsite search, filters, product sorting, recommendations, cross-selling and upselling.
- Ensure products, pricing, promotions and website content are accurate, engaging and on brand.
- Support daily and weekly ecommerce trading activity, monitoring sales, conversion, AOV, traffic, product performance and availability.
- Use ecommerce performance data and customer insights to identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversion and overall website performance.
- Monitor competitor websites, pricing, promotions, product launches and merchandising activity to identify opportunities and inform trading decisions.
Campaigns & Product Launches
- Implement onsite promotions, campaigns, sales activity and product launches in line with trading and marketing plans.
- Manage product uploads, including imagery, descriptions, categorisation, pricing and availability.
- Ensure new products are accurately presented and effectively merchandised across relevant websites.
- Carry out pre- and post-launch QA to ensure campaigns, promotions and website updates are accurate and working correctly.
- Coordinate the consistent execution of campaigns across UK, Ireland and European websites, taking regional differences into account.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
