Cult Mia is building the leading online luxury fashion marketplace of tomorrow. We stand out by curating the most unique, values-driven collections that shoppers cannot find elsewhere. We scout 2,400+ brands across 42+ countries, curating products spanning 17+ categories. Our mission is to give luxury shoppers access to limited-edition, global fashion, safe in the knowledge that all products and brands are ethically vetted.
About the Role
Cult Mia ships directly from designer to customer, which makes the Operations team the beating heart between our brand partners and the people buying from them.
This is a hands-on, six-month placement working across four areas: supporting our designers, keeping orders moving, and managing the backend of site listings. You will work closely with the eCommerce and Operations team and get real exposure to how a multi-vendor luxury marketplace actually runs day to day, from a product going live to a return being processed.
The role is 20 hours per week on a fixed-term contract, worked on a hybrid basis out of our Chelsea, London office (Mon + Thurs in office + 1 day from home). We are looking for someone curious and proactive who wants to build a foundation in ecommerce operations rather than sit on the sidelines of it.

Key Responsibilities
The role’s tasks and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Brand and Designer Support
- Acting as a day-to-day point of contact for brand partners on order, stock and dispatch queries
- Supporting the onboarding of new designers by gathering the product data, imagery and stock information needed to go live
- Chasing outstanding information from brands and keeping onboarding trackers up to date
- Flagging recurring brand issues, such as late dispatch or incomplete product data, to the wider team
Order and Fulfilment Operations
- Monitoring orders through the designer-to-customer journey to ensure brand partners dispatch accurately and on time
- Processing returns, exchanges and shipping labels
- Liaising with couriers and brands to troubleshoot delayed, lost or damaged shipments
- Keeping customers informed where an order is at risk of missing its delivery window
Product and Listing Management

- Updating product information and making PDP updates for brands and internal teams
- Quality checking imagery, copy, sizing and pricing before products go live
- Reviewing and updating online inventory so that stock holding stays accurate across the platform
- Supporting catalogue housekeeping, including tagging, categorisation and removing discontinued lines
The Ideal Candidate
- Currently studying towards or recently finished a degree, or able to demonstrate equivalent interest and aptitude through work experience or personal projects
- Confident with Excel or Google Sheets, comfortable sorting, filtering and using basic formulas
- Detail oriented by nature. You are the person who notices when a price looks wrong or an image is missing
- Clear written communicator. A large part of this role is emailing with brands
- Organised, with the ability to prioritise when several things need attention at once
- A genuine interest in fashion, luxury retail and ecommerce
- Comfortable in a fast-moving startup environment where priorities can shift quickly
- Exposure to Shopify is advantageous but not essential
