E-Commerce Product Manager

An exciting opportunity to join a growing online retailer with over two million products across entertainment and home. Reporting directly to the Head of Ecommerce, you'll lead our Product Team, ensuring our catalogue remains accurate, commercially effective and easy for customers to shop.

This is a hands-on management role combining merchandising, product data, website optimisation and team leadership. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the product function, acting as the first point of escalation for website and catalogue issues while supporting the development of a growing team.

As the business continues to expand, you'll help shape how new product categories are introduced and play a key role in building the team around them.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Manage and support two Product Coordinators and an Ecommerce Assistant.
  • Prioritise workloads across the team, ensuring product launches and merchandising tasks are delivered accurately and on time.
  • Coach and develop team members through regular feedback and training.
  • Recruit and onboard additional team members as the business grows.

Product & Catalogue Management

  • Maintain catalogue quality across multiple departments.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product data, taxonomy and customer navigation.
  • Resolve data inconsistencies and investigate feed or supplier issues.
  • Ensure new products are launched with accurate and engaging content.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
