We’re recruiting an eCommerce Specialist for an ambitious and growing brand as they continue to invest in their D2C channel.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity for an up-and-coming digital marketer who wants to develop their career across eCommerce, trading and digital acquisition, with plenty of exposure to the commercial side of running a successful online business.

You’ll be closely involved in the day-to-day performance of the website, looking at how it is trading, helping to deliver promotions and campaigns and using data to identify opportunities to improve conversion, customer acquisition and online revenue.

The role also offers good exposure across the wider digital mix. You’ll get involved in CRM activity and work alongside specialist agencies across PPC, SEO and other performance channels, giving you the opportunity to develop a genuinely broad understanding of how the different parts of digital marketing contribute to commercial growth. As part of an SME, this won't be a narrowly defined role. You’ll be expected to get stuck in, look at the numbers, make changes to the website, test ideas and support different areas of eCommerce and digital when needed.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You don't need to have done everything already. This could suit someone currently working as an eCommerce Executive, Digital Marketing Executive, Trading Executive or similar who has developed a good grounding in eCommerce, but is ready for more responsibility and commercial exposure.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to become a well-rounded eCommerce professional rather than specialise too early in one particular channel. You’ll get exposure to website trading, CRM, acquisition, conversion and digital performance, with the opportunity to see directly how your work contributes to the growth of the business.
