Professional Beauty Systems:
We are a leading hair and beauty brand manufacturing company known for our innovative, high-quality products and dedication to customer satisfaction. We have over 40 years of experience working with the best people in the industry and are looking to grow our team.
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Ecommerce Technical Lead to join our dynamic, fast-paced Ecommerce Team!
Role Overview:
As Ecommerce Technical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the code of our growing Shopify ecosystem. You'll be responsible for maintaining and evolving 11 existing ecommerce websites while leading the technical delivery of new Shopify websites across multiple brands within the business.
This is not a traditional developer role. We're looking for someone who combines strong Shopify development skills with commercial awareness and an understanding of how customers shop online.
You'll work closely with our Head of Ecommerce to turn ideas into high-performing ecommerce experiences that deliver on customer experience while delivering conversions. We don't expect to provide pixel-perfect specifications and designs for every feature. Instead, we're looking for someone who can understand business objectives, recommend solutions, challenge assumptions where appropriate and use their experience to build websites that improve customer experience and commercial performance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
