Description

Hybrid: We welcome applications from those looking for hybrid working, based 2 days (Tuesday & Wednesday) per week in our Handforth Office.

About The Role

This is a great opportunity to develop your Ecommerce career in a fast-paced retail environment. As an Ecommerce Assistant, you'll play a key role in bringing new product ranges to life online, supporting the setup and launch of products within our Accessories category and helping to create a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Working closely with teams across Buying, Trading, Marketing and Content, you'll support the delivery of multiple projects, coordinate product launches, and maintain high standards across our website. From setting up new lines and optimising product information to supporting trading activity and campaign launches, you'll ensure our products are accurate, engaging and easy for customers to shop.

You'll gain exposure to a broad range of Ecommerce activities, including online trading, merchandising, product optimisation and cross-functional project delivery. Whether you're looking to build on existing Ecommerce experience or take your first step into the industry, this role will give you the opportunity to develop valuable skills while contributing to the growth and performance of a key category.

Key Responsibilities – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Set up new products and ranges, ensuring accurate product information, imagery and categorisation.
  • Upload and maintain high-quality product content and digital assets.
  • Optimise product pages to improve search visibility and customer engagement.
  • Monitor product data and resolve any content or setup issues.
  • Support the launch of new ranges, promotions and seasonal campaigns.
  • Help merchandise categories to create an engaging online shopping experience.
  • Identify opportunities to improve onsite search, navigation and filtering.
  • Support the delivery of category trading plans and commercial activity.
  • Monitor product and category performance, highlighting key insights and trends.
  • Produce regular trading reports and performance updates.
  • Review campaign and launch results, sharing recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Buying, Marketing, Content and Digital teams to deliver online activity.
  • Support multiple projects and ensure key deadlines are met.
  • Contribute ideas to improve the customer journey and website performance.

You're highly organised, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. Whether you're managing multiple priorities, supporting product launches, or ensuring information is accurate and up to date, you'll take pride in delivering high-quality work.

You'll ideally have some experience in Ecommerce, online merchandising, digital marketing, or a similar digital role, or be looking to take the next step into an Ecommerce career. Confident using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, you're comfortable working with data, spotting opportunities, and sharing insights. Most importantly, you're a proactive team player with strong communication skills who enjoys building relationships and collaborating with colleagues across the business.
