As an eCommerce Trading Lead for the Self Selection Cosmetics category, you will be part of the wider Beauty eCommerce trading team, responsible for day-to-day trade of our exciting, fast-paced Cosmetics category and how our incredible brands show up on boots.com, to achieve stretching growth targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the day-to-day trading and how the SSC category shows up across Boots.com, contributing to total Boots.com revenue & profit growth and market share ambitions
  • Be seen as the digital expert in your category, holding a clear understanding of the drivers for the category and the Cosmetics market, with insight about how to drive conversion and increase customer acquisition
  • Delivery of new product launches, salesplan, online trade plan and owning the digital plan for your brands and category
  • Managing multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure the category is appropriately supported
  • Supporting development initiatives and process improvements, ensuring that ecommerce trading and customer requirements are captured
  • Responsible for legal and safe trade of own categories online and delivery of KPIs

What You’ll Need To Have

  • Experience of working in a commercial role, either within eCommerce or with strong retail trading/buying experience
  • An understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing – confident in using data & insight to drive performance and in building and delivering plans
  • Able to use initiative and be willing to push boundaries and take calculated risks to gain a competitive advantage
  • Excellent internal and external stakeholder management – confident engaging, influencing and holding to account teams, peers, senior stakeholders and third parties (e.g., product suppliers)
  • Adaptable and able to maintain excellent prioritisation and organisation skills within a fast-paced environment

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires regular working outside normal office hours. This typically involves working from 5am one or two times a month and occasional overnight working e.g., for major launches. In general, you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
