The Role

We're looking for an Ecommerce Trading Manager to lead the day-to-day trading and optimisation of Arsenal Direct. Working closely with the Senior Ecommerce Trading Manager and a wide range of colleagues across our club, you'll use data, customer insight and commercial awareness to enhance the online experience for supporters and visitors around the world.

This is a fast-paced and rewarding leadership role where you'll influence trading strategy, lead a talented team and help deliver key commercial moments across our ecommerce channels. You'll play a vital role in ensuring products are easy to discover, campaigns are seamlessly executed, and every online journey is engaging and customer-focused.

12-month fixed-term contract.

Who we are

We are one of the most famous clubs in world football, with a rich heritage and history of success – read more about our history, here.

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

We are committed to ensuring that our environments for children, young people and adults at risk remain safe and inclusive. We therefore require successful candidates to complete a DBS check and other essential background checks prior to starting their employment. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, a DBS will be either a basic, standard, or enhanced check.

Your day-to-day

  • Lead our online trading plan - you'll develop and deliver trading activity across Arsenal Direct, using performance data, customer insight and commercial priorities to drive growth
  • Maximise trading opportunities - you will proactively identify opportunities to improve product visibility, conversion and revenue performance, acting quickly when opportunities arise
  • Deliver key ecommerce moments - you'll coordinate major product launches, campaigns and trading events, ensuring supporters enjoy a seamless online experience
  • Turn insight into action - you will monitor performance and customer behaviour, providing clear recommendations that help shape future trading decisions
  • Drive reporting excellence - you'll take ownership of trading reports and dashboards, ensuring stakeholders have access to accurate and meaningful insights
  • Enhance the online customer journey - you will work collaboratively to improve product presentation, merchandising and site experiences that encourage conversion
  • Build effective partnerships - you'll collaborate closely with Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Content and Digital Product teams to deliver joined-up commercial activity
  • Lead and develop your team - you will coach, support and empower colleagues, helping them deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
