A-LEVEL ECONOMICS COACH & CONTENT LEAD — ECONOMINDS
Remote (UK-based) · Self-employed · November start · OTE £84,000+, uncapped
Most A-level students are taught to pass an exam. We prepare them for the world that comes after it.
Econominds is part of OmniMinds Group. We have served over 30,000 students in 7 different countries and have achieved 100% A/A* grades with all students going through our complete Economaster package. We are the UK's only government backed platform dedicated to supporting A level economics students due to our innovation with our algorithm. We also offer the same service for A level maths and further maths.
We're now hiring the person who will become the face of Econominds.
THE ROLE
You will take over course delivery from our founder so she can scale the business. That means three things:
- You coach. Group sessions and one-to-one students, taking them to the grades our guarantee promises.
- You create. Short-form video and LinkedIn content that brings the next wave of ambitious students to us. You are comfortable on camera and you understand that content is how a modern education brand grows.
- You represent. You front our live and in-person events and you carry the Econominds name in the room.
This is a launch role. You are not slotting into a machine, you are helping build one, with a clear path to extend the contract and earn equity as the business grows.
WHO YOU ARE
You have at least 3 years of professional experience qualified to teach Economics/ examiner or in a finance or economics field, so you know how real work operates and you bring that world into the classroom.
- Delivery happens when students study, so expect the work to sit largely across evenings and weekends. This is a must.
- You have a genuine understanding of A-level Economics, across the AQA and Edexcel A specifications.
- You have tutored or taught before. This is not your first time in front of students.
- You are a confident, clear communicator who can hold a room and a camera. You already have a LinkedIn presence. An existing TikTok or Instagram following is a strong advantage.
- You are high-energy and you connect naturally with 16 to 18 year olds. Ambitious people trust you because you have done the thing, not just read about it.
- You are UK-based and able to travel to London roughly once every two months for events.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

WHY NOW
Econominds is at an inflection point. Our acquisition engine is live, our pipeline is structured, and our corporate placement partnerships are expanding. The Economasters community is growing, subject by subject, into a national platform. You are joining early enough for your work to shape the brand, and at exactly the moment it starts to scale.
You would be working alongside a founder who was diagnosed with dyslexia, was told by the system she was not capable, then graduated top of her class with First-Class Honours in Economics and closed over £1 billion in deals at KPMG, Schroders and Warwick Stone Capital by the age of 23. She left corporate to build this. She is one of the UK's youngest government-backed EdTech founders. This is the standard you would be joining.
