Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of industry experience in a client-facing pre-sales, technical consulting, or solutions engineering capacity, or 6 years of experience with an advanced degree.
  • Experience with software development, programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, SQL), and enterprise API integrations.
  • Experience architecting technology and data solutions within digital advertising, MarTech, or cloud computing ecosystems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience developing advanced marketing activations, secure data pipelines, and custom API connections.
  • Deep expertise across Google’s advertising platforms (Google Ads, GMP) and Google Cloud (BigQuery, AI/ML, Data Analytics).
  • Ability to translate complex technical solutions into persuasive storytelling for executive audiences.
  • Ability to bridge pre-sales agreement shaping, architectural foresight, and post-sales technical delivery.
  • Proven track record in driving value within the third-party ecosystem (agencies, SIs, ISVs).

About The Job

The Global Agency and Third Party Ecosystem team is the technical sales and consultant organization for the expanding ecosystem of Ad tech, MarTech and Agency partners. Our focus is on driving value for Brands through deep connections between the Third Party Ecosystem and Google advertising data, technology and AI.

As an Ecosystem Sales Engineer, you will sit at the nexus of Google Platforms, Data, APIs, and Google Cloud. In this specialized role, you will turn pre-sales strategy into meaningful integrations with Third-Party Ecosystem (3PE) partners through technical consultation. Operating within a specialism like Measurement, Creative Tech, Creator Tech, or Agentic Marketing Solutions, you will conduct advanced technical in-depth to design optimal integrations that maximize impact for Advertisers and Google.

Serving as the technical authority during the architectural design phase, you will ensure Google’s product priorities are seamlessly integrated while developing scalable cross-product blueprints for partner disciplines. Your deep technical engagements will directly fuel Google's future product roadmap by documenting advanced 3PE solutions, analyzing engaged offerings, and delivering actionable intelligence to our Product and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead advanced, project-based technical engagements with qualified 3PE partners to uncover technology offerings and design optimal integration methodologies with Google.
  • Develop repeatable integration blueprints and architectural plans spanning multiple Google products and APIs to scale across multiple partners within specific focus areas.
  • Act as the technical authority during the design phase, ensuring critical Google product strategies are seamlessly incorporated into partner architectures.
  • Translate deep partner engagements into actionable insights by documenting advanced 3PE solutions and engaged capabilities to influence core Google Product and Engineering roadmaps.
