Role: Adult Nursing Sisters/Charge Nurses
We are recruiting for adult nursing Sisters/Charge Nurses within our highly performing Emergency Department. It is a very busy and exciting time to join us as we continuously develop services in our purpose-built Urgent & Emergency Care Department.
Responsibilities
As a skilled and valued member of our team, you will take a lead role in the coordination, planning, and delivery of individual care provided by the multidisciplinary team in the department by ensuring the effective management of the department in the absence of the department leader. Provide professional nursing leadership, guidance, and clinical advice to staff members.
Assist in the effective operational management of the department and flow of patients within the hospital, concentrating on the provision of quality care for patients.
About the Department
Our new Urgent and Emergency Care Department opened in Summer 2023 and has been designed to give the best possible care to patients. The £27m department, which is based in a state-of-the-art facility, was operationally opened on 21 June 2023, and officially opened on 12 July.
