Role Overview

Accenture Edge for AWS is building a newly formed business unit focused on creating net-new business with mid-market companies up to $3B in annual revenue. We are seeking quota-carrying hunter sales executives who thrive in new market creation, whitespace account development, and first-time customer acquisition. These sellers will report to the Accenture Edge for AWS Mid-Market Hunting Sales Leader and will be accountable for originating, qualifying, advancing, and closing AWS services opportunities with new and underpenetrated customers while consistently achieving individual sales quota.

The ideal candidate has a true hunter mindset, strong customer relationship instincts, practical knowledge of AWS-led transformation, and the ability to convert AWS ecosystem relationships, marketing signals, marketplace interest, and direct outreach into qualified pipeline and closed revenue. This role requires high energy, strong sales discipline, executive presence, rigorous quota ownership, and comfort operating in a fast-moving growth environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate net-new quota attainment: Hunt for new-logo opportunities and whitespace accounts among mid-market companies up to $3B in annual revenue, with direct accountability for achieving individual sales quota.
  • Build quota-supporting pipeline: Create sufficient qualified pipeline to meet and exceed assigned quota through direct prospecting, AWS seller referrals, ACE opportunities, marketing campaigns, Storefront interest, marketplace motions, partner referrals, and targeted account outreach.
  • Engage customer executives: Build trusted relationships with CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, business leaders, technology leaders, and buying committees to position Accenture Edge for AWS as a right-sized transformation partner.
  • Activate AWS ecosystem relationships: Work closely with AWS sellers, partner sales managers, solution architects, and marketplace teams to identify joint opportunities, shape value propositions, and advance co-sell pursuits.
  • Sell productized AWS offerings: Position Accenture Edge for AWS offerings across cloud migration and modernization, VMware migration, secure cloud foundation, AWS managed services, cloud optimization and FinOps, data and AI modernization, Amazon Connect, and responsible AI services.
  • Advance opportunities with quota discipline: Own account plans, opportunity plans, qualification, next steps, stakeholder mapping, forecast inputs, deal progression, and close plans required to achieve individual quota commitments.
  • Partner across internal teams: Collaborate with solutioning, delivery, alliance, marketing, finance, legal, client success, AABG, Navisite, NeuraFlash, and market teams to create compelling proposals and smooth handoffs.
  • Represent the Edge growth model: Communicate the value of Accenture Edge as a simpler, faster, outcome-oriented AWS services model for mid-market customers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
