Edge Networking Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Edge Networking Engineer to design, build, migrate, and separate edge network services for a major corporate divestiture. You will deliver site-level Layer 2 access, distribution switching, wireless, and Network Access Control (NAC) infrastructure to ensure clean, independent access.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site Edge Switching: Deploy Cisco Catalyst/Nexus stacks and migrate existing configurations to new VLAN, addressing, and uplink designs.
  • Production & Broadcast Networks: Deliver edge switching for media production platforms (Avid/Nexus), storage (Isilon/NAS), and transcoding.
  • Meraki & Wireless: Deploy and migrate Meraki MX/MS/MR and Juniper Mist infrastructure, managing Dashboard templates across a multi-site estate.
  • Network Access Control (NAC): Configure 802.1X wired authentication, Cisco ISE policies, VLAN assignments, and MAB fallback.
  • Divested Entity Cleanup: Remove retained-entity VLANs/SVIs from divested switches to ensure clean operational separation.
  • Collaboration: Partner with core routing, platform, and automation teams using CI/CD pipelines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
