HR Consultant – Edinburgh | Hybrid | Client-Site Travel | £30,000–£32,000 + Benefits
Looking for your next step in HR? If you have 2+ years’ HR experience and are ready to broaden your experience, work with different businesses and develop your career in consultancy, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Perhaps you're currently working in an internal HR role and are considering a move into consultancy. Or maybe you're already working in HR consultancy and looking for a role where you can continue to develop and take on more responsibility.
What you can expect?
You'll work with a range of clients across different sectors, helping them with their day-to-day HR needs as well as more complex people matters. It's a varied role, so you'll have the chance to build experience across areas of HR that you may not have had exposure to in-house.
You'll be involved in:
- Advising clients on day-to-day HR and employee relations matters
- Supporting managers with people issues and employment legislation
- Developing HR policies, processes, and practical solutions
- Building strong relationships with a range of clients
- Supporting HR projects and wider people initiatives
- Helping clients improve their people processes and practices
- Getting involved in client meetings, events, and business development

What we're looking for?
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident giving advice, and wants to keep developing their HR career.
You'll ideally have:
- 2+ years' HR experience
- Good knowledge of HR, employee relations, and employment legislation
- Experience in either an internal HR or consultancy environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A practical approach to solving problems
- CIPD qualification or be working towards one
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- A genuine interest in developing your HR and consultancy experience
- Full driving licence and access to a car – essential
