Private chef needed in Edinburgh, one full day per week.
We're looking for a private chef to cook one day a week for a single-person household in central Edinburgh. It's a batch-cook role: you cook on site, and the food covers lunches and dinners Monday to Friday, plus something easy for breakfast.
The role
- One full day per week, in the client's kitchen
- £250 per day
- Menus are yours to build. Our nutritionists set the protocol and brief you, they don't dictate your food
- Grocery shopping is part of the day, reimbursed weekly on receipts

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we need from you
- Strict gluten-free cooking. The household is coeliac, so cross-contamination control is non-negotiable

- Comfortable cooking to macro and calorie targets
- Italian, Thai and Vietnamese are all welcome
