eDiscovery Project Manager

The eDiscovery Project Manager will play a key role within the Firm’s Data Privacy and eDiscovery function, supporting the efficient management of electronic discovery processes, data subject rights requests, and related compliance activities.

Reporting to the Data Privacy Officer (DPO), the eDiscovery Project Manager will work with the eDiscovery Manager by providing technical support, predominantly on file reviews, transfers, and data subject access requests (DSARs), as part of the Firm’s in-house compliance and regulatory requirements. In addition, the eDiscovery Project Manager may be required to assist fee-earning teams, such as Employment, Litigation, and Dispute Resolution, with eDiscovery for disputes and claims.

The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of litigation, DSARs, and file transfer processes, document management, and access to data and data organisation, have a broad range of experience in applied technology, and be able to make recommendations to improve our practices and implement the best technical and practical solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end eDiscovery projects across the firm, including scoping, data collection, processing, review, and production for both internal compliance matters and fee earner client work.
  • Partner with fee-earning teams across practice areas including Litigation, Employment, Dispute Resolution, and Corporate to deliver eDiscovery support for disputes, investigations, and transactional due diligence.
  • Advise stakeholders on eDiscovery best practices, technology solutions, and defensible workflows to ensure efficient and compliant handling of electronically stored information.
  • Support the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of eDiscovery platforms and tools, ensuring they meet the needs of both compliance and client-facing work.
  • Coordinate data collection and preservation activities, working with IT, Information Security, and matter teams to ensure defensibility and chain of custody.
  • Develop and maintain eDiscovery workflows, protocols, and quality control procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy across all projects.
  • Provide training and support to fee earners, paralegals, and support staff on eDiscovery processes, tools, and technology-assisted review methodologies.
  • Support the eDiscovery Manager, DPO, and GCO team with data subject access requests (DSARs), file reviews, and other regulatory compliance matters as required.
  • Liaise with external eDiscovery vendors and service providers, managing relationships and ensuring cost-effective delivery of services.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and reporting, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and any issues.
  • Stay current with developments in eDiscovery technology, legal requirements, and industry best practices, recommending improvements to the firm’s capabilities.
  • Comply with all relevant legal and regulatory obligations including the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Standards and Regulations, and Principles.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
