Digital Forensics and Incident Response (CERT)

The eDiscovery Specialist is responsible for leading and managing investigations on behalf of Vodafone. The primary responsibility of the eDiscovery Specialist role is to assist in legal investigations, litigation support, corporate security investigations and compliance efforts by employing advanced technologies and methodologies to collect, preserve, analyse, and present electronic evidence. There will be the need to generate reports to satisfy the requirement of senior stakeholders, technical specialists, and regulatory bodies. There may also be the requirement to produce evidential witness statements for use in court or tribunal proceedings.

What You’ll Do

eDiscovery Investigations

  • Manage the end-to-end eDiscovery process, including identification, preservation, collection, processing, review, and production of electronic data in support of investigations
  • Collaborate with teams to understand case requirements and develop strategies for efficient data retrieval and analysis
  • Utilize eDiscovery tools and software to process, review, and analyse electronic data, ensuring the defensibility and integrity of the discovery process
  • Work extensively with (internal) customers as well as external counsel to facilitate complex investigations

Quality Control

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of collected electronic evidence
  • Conduct regular audits and validations to verify the integrity of the eDiscovery process

Who You Are

  • Proven experience in eDiscovery and Digital Forensics (3+ years of experience) also understand enterprise scale Incident Response
  • In-depth knowledge of eDiscovery tools, forensic software, and data analysis techniques leveraging enterprise level toolsets
  • Knowledge of forensic including EDR and eDiscovery, Knowledge of common operating systems such as Windows, Linux, Unix and macOS in a forensic aspect
  • Experience with handling large and varied data sets whilst maintaining evidential integrity
  • Expertise in analysing digital artifacts to determine the scope and impact of investigations
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to digital evidence and privacy, including GDPR
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, Preferable, but not essential, to have industry recognised technical accreditations, such as SANS or RCA
