We’re Studio B: a fast-moving, creative production company making ambitious content for millions of people across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram and beyond. We’re looking for a brilliant mid-level Video Editor who lives and breathes social media, moves quickly and never compromises on the quality of the final cut.
This is a role for a true digital native: someone who instinctively understands what makes people stop scrolling, keep watching and share. You’ll bring ideas, energy and personality to every edit - whether it’s a punchy short-form video or a compelling YouTube format.
About the role
You’ll turn raw footage into standout, social-first content with pace, humour, storytelling and polish. You’ll be comfortable working in a high-output environment, responding rapidly to feedback and switching between projects without losing your creative edge or attention to detail. We want an editor who doesn’t just follow a brief - they make the work better.
What you’ll do
- Edit platform-native short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social channels, with strong hooks, tight pacing and brilliant payoffs.
- Craft engaging long-form YouTube videos, including challenges, gameshow-style formats, behind-the-scenes content, interviews, vlogs, sketches and creator-led entertainment.
- Own edits from rough cut through final delivery, shaping narrative, comedy, rhythm, music, sound design, captions and finishing details.
- Work at speed on quick-turnaround briefs, managing competing deadlines while keeping every output sharp, accurate and on brand.
- Collaborate closely with creatives, producers, VFX artists and fellow editors; contribute ideas in brainstorms and offer creative solutions, not just technical execution.
- Use audience behaviour, emerging formats and evolving platform trends to push our content forward - proactively suggest stronger hooks, cuts and storytelling approaches.
- Take feedback constructively, iterate quickly and maintain exceptionally high standards of creative and technical quality.
- Create cut-downs, trailers, teasers, tutorials, breakdowns and social-first branded content as projects require.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
