Role Description
VOLUNTARY ROLE
The Editor role at redRondo.com is a remote volunteer position focused on maintaining high editorial quality across all published content. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing and editing articles for clarity, tone, structure, and accuracy before publication. The Editor coordinates with writers to refine drafts, provide constructive feedback, and ensure consistency with the site’s style and standards. This role also involves fact-checking key information, managing content schedules, and helping shape story angles to support coverage across transfers, tactical analysis, youth, and women’s football.

- Strong proficiency in English language editing, including grammar, syntax, and style.
- Experience in content review, copyediting, and providing clear editorial feedback.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple articles, deadlines, and contributors.
- Solid understanding of football, especially LFC, and interest in transfers, tactics, youth, and women’s game.
- Comfort working remotely, using digital collaboration tools, and communicating clearly in writing.
- Prior editorial or journalism experience with online publications is beneficial.
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and non-discriminatory content and team collaboration.
