Company Description

Rapid Innovation Lab (RIL) is a research and innovation organisation supporting the development of ideas, technologies and practical solutions through research, collaboration and experimentation. The International Journal for Superintelligence (IJSI) is an open access academic journal dedicated to advancing research in Artificial Intelligence, Superintelligence, Computer Science and related disciplines. The journal brings together academics, researchers and industry professionals to contribute to scientific knowledge through independent evaluation, rigorous peer review and responsible scholarly publishing. IJSI combines modern research technologies with human academic expertise to improve the quality, accessibility and efficiency of scholarly publishing.

Role Description

Editorial Board Members & Peer Reviewers serve as key contributors to the quality and credibility of Rapid Innovation Lab’s publications and thought leadership. In this volunteer, remote role, team members review submissions for clarity, rigor, originality, and relevance to the fellowship’s mission.

They provide constructive feedback to authors, recommend revisions, and help determine which pieces should be accepted, revised, or declined. Editorial Board Members may also help shape editorial priorities, suggest themes or topics, and occasionally contribute or solicit content. Peer Reviewers focus on detailed evaluation of individual submissions, ensuring that published work meets ethical, scholarly, and professional standards. Both roles collaborate asynchronously with other reviewers and editorial leads, meeting virtually as needed to discuss decisions and continuous improvement of the review process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
