Job Title: Editorial & Content Communications Manager

Location: London – 3 days to office

Duration: 6 months contract


Description:

As an Editorial & Content Communications Manager, you will use your broad and deep knowledge of our editorial content strategy and development to deliver, write, and edit speeches, copies, and editorials, and create multimedia productions (e.g., graphic design, video) that are consumed by Global Communication teams. You will apply your knowledge of editorial and authorial voice, tone, our brand, and tech industry events, trends, and media landscape to make key contributions to one large or multiple smaller communications. You will promote continuous improvement and ensure the integration of editorial and content processes, spanning regions and multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Guide development of platforms (e.g., Keyword website), including new features and functionality, direct the work of agencies, vendors, and/or third-party content providers, evaluate and determine platform priorities based on analytics, technical feasibility, and available resources/budget.
  • Create, deliver, and manage video and multimedia content. Drive planning process of video and multimedia content. Drive identification of appropriate presentation format, style, and design of video and multimedia content. Leverage, collaborate with, and manage third-party content providers (e.g., Huge on the platform side and other internal or external creative partners such as a video production company) to deliver content as needed. Drive content auditing for content from third-party providers.
  • Elevate and shape executive voice across formats, leading speech, blog post Q&A, note, etc. writing for executives in executive voice and prepare them for external events through coaching, developing visuals, and assisting with operations and event management.
  • Create, deliver, and manage "journalistic" articles and blog posts, including researching, preparing for, and leading stakeholder (e.g., product managers) interviews to collect stories. Drive planning process of articles and blog posts. Drive identification of appropriate presentation format, style, and design of articles and blog posts. Provide guidance from conception to completion, including high-level feedback on format, narrative, visuals, voice, as well as line and copy editing for editorial content (e.g., newsletters, blog posts, video scripts).
  • Create, deliver, and manage social content. Drive planning process of social content. Drive identification of appropriate presentation format, style, and design and ensure content accuracy, develop social strategies based on data analytics and understanding of best practices.
  • Drive creation of interpretable insights from data analysis and insights to develop and shape editorial.
