Job Purpose

We are hiring an Editorial Copywriter to help shape and elevate Burberry's voice across our global digital and customer touchpoints. Sitting within the Editorial team, you will create compelling long and short-form content across social media, email, Burberry.com and brand experiences, ensuring consistency, creativity and impact across every channel.

Working closely with teams across the business, you will play a key role in bringing campaigns, product stories and cultural moments to life through engaging and distinctive copy. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented storyteller who understands the intersection of luxury, culture and digital communication.

Responsibilities

  • Create engaging and on-brand copy across social media, email, Burberry.com, events and additional customer-facing channels.
  • Act as a key connection between the Social and Editorial teams, ensuring a consistent and distinctive brand voice.
  • Develop long and short-form content that supports campaigns, product launches, cultural moments and commercial initiatives.
  • Partner with colleagues across Marketing, Design, Digital Commerce, Events, Retail and Communications to deliver high-quality content.
  • Present creative ideas and written concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and strengthen final output.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Burberry's editorial and social voice, ensuring content remains relevant, engaging and aligned with brand strategy.

Personal Profile

  • Experience in brand copywriting, with exposure to social media content creation considered an advantage.
  • Strong writing, editing and storytelling skills, with the ability to adapt tone across multiple formats and channels.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working to deadlines.
  • A strong understanding of fashion, luxury, culture and the digital landscape.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful customer communications.
  • A creative and curious mindset, with confidence contributing ideas and developing engaging content.
