Onlooker TV is a film, television, and video production company specializing in projects focused on new technology, renewable energy, and business finance. The team provides end-to-end production services, from developing video marketing strategies through scripting, filming, and final delivery. Formerly known as JWP.tv, Onlooker TV brings over 25 years of experience creating short-form PR and marketing content across diverse business sectors. The company is now focused on its specialist areas and is actively developing two TV pilots centered on renewable energy innovation. Onlooker TV values creative collaboration with clients to produce impactful visual stories that support their communication and marketing goals.
Role Description
This is a temporary, on-site role based in East Worldham for editors, cameramen, and self shooters. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Planning and filming video content on location
- Operating cameras and related equipment
- Capturing high-quality audio and visuals for a range of projects
- Editing footage into polished short-form content
- Adding basic graphics
- Ensuring consistent narrative and visual style in line with client briefs
- Contributing to storyboarding and shot lists
- Coordinating with directors and producers
- Supporting the setup and breakdown of shoots

The position requires close collaboration with the production team to deliver professional video content on schedule and within project requirements.
Qualifications
- Strong camera operation skills, including framing, lighting awareness, and audio capture suitable for short-form film, TV, and marketing content.
- Proficiency with common video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic sound and color correction.
- Ability to self-shoot, including planning shots, managing equipment, and working independently on location while maintaining production quality.
- Experience in corporate, PR, or marketing video production, ideally with exposure to technology, renewable energy, or business finance topics.
- Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interpret briefs and work effectively with producers, clients, and other crew members.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage time and multiple tasks during fast-paced production schedules.
- Understanding of safe working practices on set, including responsible equipment handling and awareness of health and safety guidelines.
- Relevant training or education in film, media production, or a related field is beneficial, as is a portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous work.
