Company Description
Working as a partnership, both Isle of Wight NHS Trust and Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust have a shared vision for excellence in care for our patients and communities; with a set of strategic aims underpinning how we will achieve this.
The single corporate service is delivered across both organisations. You may be based at either IWT or PHU and individuals may be required to undertake business travel between sites. For leaders managing staff across multi-site locations, you will need to be visible and provide in person leadership. The arrangements and frequency will be agreed locally.

NHS Band 3 Salary: £25,760 - £27,476 per annum
Hours Per Week: Full time 37.5 hrs

The Learning, Education and Development (LEaD) Team is seeking an enthusiastic Education Administrator to provide high-quality administrative support for a wide range of education and training activities across Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust and Isle of Wight NHS Trust.
Working as part of a busy and supportive team, you'll coordinate training bookings, maintain learning records, support the Trust's Learning Management System, respond to staff enquiries and help ensure colleagues have access to the training and development they need.
We're looking for someone with excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, good IT knowledge and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. Experience of working in an administrative environment and confidence using Microsoft Office applications are essential.

Specific Core Functions
- Work as part of the Learning, Education and Development team to provide high quality, efficient and effective Learning, Education and Development activities.
- Ensuring the effective management of course bookings on the Trust Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Providing a values-based customer focussed service.
- Accurately record attendance and completion of training completed within the organisation or via e-Learning or the Trust LMS or appropriate learning database.
- Dealing with general enquiries in relation to Education, Learning and Development in person, over the phone and via IT systems.
- Provide administrative support to departmental trainers and facilitators with regard to delivery of learning and development activities.
- Undertake general office administrative duties.
- Liaise with staff at all levels within the Trust and Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) with regard to the efficient, effective delivery of internal training courses.

Qualifications
Essential
- 5 GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent), including Maths and English
- Level 3 Business Administration or equivalent experience
Desirable
- Knowledge of IT systems used by the Learning, Education and Development Team
Experience
- Experience of working in a fast-paced corporate environment
Skills & Knowledge
- Good working knowledge of IT systems including Microsoft office applications and web-based systems
