Education Administrator

Membership Regulatory Body

Home-Based with travel to London, staff away days and some UK events

Salary: £23,132–£24,500

Permanent | Full-Time (35 hours per week; Monday to Thursday 9am–5pm, Friday 9am–4pm)

Benefits include 26 days’ annual leave, rising by one day per year to 30 days, plus bank holidays, private healthcare and discretionary time off between Christmas and New Year.

About the Role

Our client, a reputable membership regulatory body in the UK, is currently seeking an Education Administrator to join its team.

This could suit a graduate with some relevant experience or an experienced administrator seeking a mainly home-based role, predictable hours and a better balance around commitments outside work.

You will support several workstreams, particularly registration for the Associate professional title, helping applicants, assessors and volunteers navigate the process smoothly.

Role of Education Administrator

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager – Professional Standards, the Administrator will provide day-to-day support for professional registration, customer enquiries and volunteer activity.

You will maintain accurate records, coordinate applications and bookings, and work with colleagues to improve the process as the membership regulatory body’s register grows.

About You

We welcome early-career and experienced administrators who can demonstrate:

  • Some experience using databases, CRM systems or work management platforms.
  • Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Teams and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Administrative or customer-facing experience, including from employment, a placement or volunteering.
  • Awareness of data privacy and GDPR.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team.
  • A positive, solution-focused approach and a willingness to offer feedback and suggest improvements.
