Role Description

The Education Advisor (New Zealand Universities) is a full-time hybrid role based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with some flexibility for work from home. The advisor will guide prospective students through academic and career options related to New Zealand universities, offering one-to-one counseling sessions and group information sessions. Daily responsibilities include assessing student profiles, recommending suitable programs and institutions, and supporting the completion of applications and documentation. The role involves maintaining up-to-date knowledge of New Zealand university requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, and visa regulations, as well as coordinating with university representatives and internal teams. The advisor will also help develop informational materials, contribute to outreach activities, and track student progress from inquiry to enrolment.

  • Strong student advising and career counseling skills, including the ability to assess academic backgrounds and career goals.
  • Experience with university admission processes, especially for New Zealand institutions, including application and document preparation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases and deadlines effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing forms, academic records, and supporting documentation.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment (office and remote).
  • Familiarity with international education systems, student visas, and scholarship opportunities is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency with standard office software and online communication tools; experience using CRM or student management systems is an advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, International Relations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Prior work experience in international student recruitment, education consulting, or university admissions is preferred.
