About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Trainer to join CIPFA's Education and Training Centre (CETC), delivering high-quality teaching to students in the early stages of their Professional Accountancy Qualification (PAQ).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive, inclusive, and collaborative team that is passionate about helping students succeed. Whether teaching online or face-to-face, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and participative learning environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching sessions for early modules in CIPFA's PAQ programme.
- Facilitate engaging learning experiences in both virtual and classroom settings.
- Support students outside taught sessions through discussion forums, online activities, quizzes, and one-to-one guidance.
- Provide timely, constructive feedback on assessments.
- Contribute to the development of teaching, revision, and e-learning materials.
- Maintain accurate student attendance, engagement, and progress records.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise with a genuine passion for teaching and developing others.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience of teaching, training, or facilitating learning in a professional or academic environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Experience of supporting learners with differing needs and learning styles.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills.
- A collaborative approach and enthusiasm for working as part of a team.
Qualifications
- AAT Level 4 (or equivalent)
- Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training (CET), or willingness to undertake and achieve this qualification whilst employed (funded by CIPFA).
