About the team and what we do

The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Education and Standards team sets and maintains the requirements for education, training, conduct, and performance for nurses, midwives, and nursing associates across the UK.

Your Role and Impact

As the Education Concerns Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing education concerns across NMC-approved programmes throughout the UK. You will oversee the assessment, investigation and resolution of concerns, ensuring our regulatory standards are met and that decisions are timely, evidence-based and fair.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams within a regulatory, quality assurance, or education environment.
  • Strong investigative, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complex and sensitive issues.
  • Excellent knowledge of governance, risk management, and quality assurance processes, with a commitment to fairness, consistency, and evidence-based practice.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of internal and external partners.
