Education Conductor
Specialist Education
Location: West Sussex
We are looking for a qualified Conductor to join a specialist education setting supporting children and young people with neurological motor impairments and associated needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity to help pupils develop functional independence, confidence and key life skills through a holistic Conductive Education approach.
You will work as part of a transdisciplinary team, supporting pupils’ physical, educational, emotional and social development in a safe, inclusive and specialist learning environment.
The role will involve:
- Leading and delivering Conductive Education programmes
- Supporting pupils’ physical development, independence and learning outcomes
- Planning and delivering group and individual learning sessions
- Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
- Creating engaging and adapted learning environments
- Working closely with education, therapy, care and specialist professionals
- Building positive relationships with pupils, families and wider professionals
- Supporting physical and emotional care, including intimate care where required
- Contributing to reviews, individual planning and wider school development

We are looking for someone with:
- Qualified Conductor status
- Experience working with children and young people in a Conductive Education setting
- Strong understanding of neurological motor impairments and associated needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Strong planning, organisation and record-keeping ability
- Adaptable, empathetic and enthusiastic approach
- Commitment to child-centred, inclusive and high-quality practice
