Education Consultant & Tutor (Ad Hoc/Freelance)

Aspire Education Services · Remote · Freelance, flexible hours

About us

Aspire Education Services (Aspire) is a specialist education consultancy supporting ambitious students and their families through every stage of their academic journey, from school entrance and tutoring to university admissions in the UK, Europe and the United States. We pair each client with consultants and tutors who have walked the same path themselves.

The role

Aspire is building a network of exceptional Education Consultants and Tutors to work with us on an ad hoc basis. Assignments are allocated according to your subject expertise, admissions knowledge and availability, so you can fit the work around your other commitments. This is ideal for academics, postgraduate researchers, admissions professionals and experienced tutors looking for rewarding, well-paid work with a high-calibre client base.

What you'll do

  • Deliver one-to-one tutoring (online and/or in person) across your subject specialisms
  • Guide students through university applications, including course and institution selection, personal statements, supplemental essays and application strategy
  • Prepare students for admissions tests and interviews (e.g. Oxbridge interviews, ESAT, TARA, UCAT, LNAT, TMUA, SAT/ACT)
  • Advise on admissions pathways across UK, European and US systems
  • Build trusted relationships with students and parents, communicating progress clearly and professionally
  • Contribute to resources, workshops or group sessions where required

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
