Renaissance is a small, practitioner-led education consultancy. We work with schools, tuition centres and education organisations to improve everyday practice through CPD, school improvement support, teaching and learning reviews and Ofsted-readiness work.
About the role
We are looking for reliable, experienced teachers and education professionals to work with us on a freelance basis.
The role has two parts:

Delivering work When Renaissance secures a contract, you may be asked to deliver consultancy, CPD, training, reviews or other education support within your area of expertise.

Helping us find work We are also looking for people who are comfortable helping Renaissance develop new opportunities by:
- Identifying schools, trusts and tuition centres that may need support
- Making initial contact and starting conversations
- Using your professional network where appropriate
- Understanding a school's needs and introducing the relevant Renaissance service
- Helping develop relationships that can lead to consultancy work

Who we're looking for
You should have:
- QTS or relevant professional education experience
- Genuine classroom or school experience
- Good communication skills
- A reliable and professional approach
- Confidence speaking with school leaders
- The ability to work independently
- A willingness to help develop new opportunities
Experience in areas such as SEND, attendance, teaching and learning, curriculum, leadership, safeguarding or school improvement is useful.
