About The National College
At The National College, we empower education professionals to transform children’s lives.
Our all-in-one platform helps schools, trusts, and nurseries stay compliant, raise standards, and reduce staff workload through intuitive, impactful technology.
If educators need it, we build it.
We’ve created a unique platform that combines the world’s largest CPD and policy library with innovative software tools, developed in collaboration with thousands of schools and more than 1,000 education experts.
The Role
As a Digital/Education Consultant – Early Years, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of TNC's memberships, including CPD, CM, and PD, across the early years sector. You will be responsible for introducing these solutions to both prospective and existing customers, helping nursery schools and groups enhance professional development and educational outcomes.
Your primary focus will be to expand TNC's presence within the nursery market by identifying, engaging, and building relationships with key decision-makers across early years settings. Through a combination of targeted outbound prospecting and the effective management of inbound enquiries, you will identify customer needs, understand the challenges they face, and qualify high-quality sales opportunities.
You will research target organisations and buyer personas, deliver a consultative sales approach, and guide prospects through the digital acquisition and sales journey. Working collaboratively with internal teams, you will maintain a healthy sales pipeline, convert opportunities into long-term customers, and contribute to achieving ambitious revenue and growth targets.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
