Company Description
Gem-A is the world’s longest-established provider of Gemmology education, with roots dating back to 1908. Its globally recognised qualifications in Gemmology and Diamonds are taught internationally and are regarded as qualifications of the highest status.
We support an international community of gem professionals and enthusiasts, serving the interests of the gem and jewellery industries. In addition to education, we offer membership opportunities, a specialist shop for gemmological instruments, and publishes two international journals: Gems & Jewellery and The Journal of Gemmology.
Role Description
As our Education Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and implementing new business opportunities through Accredited Study Centres (ATCs) and other partnerships both in the UK and across international markets, as well as managing the existing Accredited Training Centre (ATC) and Gem-A Accredited Practical Provider (GAPP) network, in order to achieve agreed revenue and student growth targets.

Based at our London Head Office, with a starting salary of £33,000, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that Gem-A's internationally recognised qualifications continue to set the global standard.
Key Objectives
- Identify and secure new B2B partnerships across the UK and international markets.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise the teaching quality, revenue, and technological preparedness of existing centres.
- Oversee the complete partner lifecycle, from application and quality assurance to commercial negotiation and relationship management.
