Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the education and well-being of children and young people? Do you have the skills and expertise to navigate the complexities of education provision and support? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Children and Family Services team as an Education Expert Navigator.
The Role
As an Education Expert Navigator, you will play a crucial role in supporting CSPA in the delivery of high-quality services to children, young people, and their families. You will be responsible for:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on education matters, including Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
- Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure appropriate education provision is in place
- Conducting assessments and reviews to identify individual needs and aspirations
- Advocating for children and young people to ensure their rights are upheld
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in education, particularly in relation to SEND
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills
- High level of professional curiosity and commitment to safeguarding best practice
- Ability to navigate complex situations and provide effective solutions

- You will also be entitled to a generous annual leave entitlement starting at 29 days per annum (plus public holidays) Rising by an additional 5 days after 5 years’ service. (Pro rata for part time hours)
