Please note: at this stage, the role is open only to colleagues currently employed within Kent and Medway NHS Trusts, the Kent and Medway Integrated Care Board (ICB) and Medway Community Healthcare. Nursing vacancies are also open to Student Nurses and Newly Qualified Nurses.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Education Lead to join our Public Health Service and drive excellence in learning, development, and professional practice.

This exciting role will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality education programmes, ensuring staff have access to training that supports evidence-based practice and meets professional and regulatory standards. • Support competency assessment processes, including providing independent assessment and review when concerns regarding competence have been identified.
  • Promote a culture of reflective practice, continuous learning, and professional development across the workforce.
  • Create and maintain positive learning environments for apprentices, students, trainees, and qualified practitioners.
  • Coordinate and support Practice Assessors and Practice Supervisors, ensuring they are appropriately prepared and maintain the competencies required for their roles.
  • Support the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) training programme, including recruitment activities, liaison with education providers, and support for practice assessors and supervisors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
