About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Education Liaison Assistant to join our Student Recruitment team. In this role you'll work closely with schools and colleges, delivering engaging presentations, workshops and information sessions that inspire students to explore their higher education options and generate interest in Edge Hill University. Representing the University at careers fairs, exhibitions and recruitment events regionally and across the UK, you'll provide tailored advice and guidance to a wide range of audiences.

A key part of the role will be developing and strengthening relationships with schools and colleges beyond the North West, working with key contacts to create impactful programmes of activity that raise awareness of Edge Hill University and encourage applications.

This an ideal role for someone who enjoys a varied role, travel and building meaningful partnerships.

This is a role where you can see the direct impact of your work on the University's success. You'll benefit from comprehensive training, ongoing professional development opportunities and clear progression pathways within the team and wider department.

About You

As Education Liaison Assistant you will be an enthusiastic and confident communicator who enjoys engaging with people from a variety of backgrounds. Whether you're presenting to a large group of students, speaking with teachers and advisers, or representing the University at a busy event, you will have a strong ability to build rapport and deliver information in an engaging and approachable way.

  • You'll be highly organised, able to manage competing priorities and work independently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • A flexible approach is essential, as you'll regularly travel across the North West and further afield, with occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Most importantly, you'll be motivated by the opportunity to make a real difference to students' futures, helping them navigate their higher education choices while acting as an ambassador for Edge Hill University.

Please note that as part of this role, we will be required to an obtain an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check including a check of the Children’s barred list, prior to your appointment.
