Role overview

Job Title: Education Manager - Higher Education

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000

Contract Type: Permanent

Line Manager: Head of Education

Role Summary: This role will lead the day-to-day delivery of the Foundation’s Higher Education programme, supporting learners to achieve strong academic outcomes and positive progression. The role also ensures compliance requirements are met, leads recruitment activities, and supports the Further Education provision as required.

Knowledge, skills and experience - essential

  • Experience supporting learners within a Higher Education or post-16 environment.
  • Strong understanding of learner support, progression, achievement and retention strategies.
  • Ability to monitor learner performance and provide effective academic and practical coaching.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements within education.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with learners, colleagues, employers, universities, and other stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience delivering teaching, training, workshops, tutorial, or other learner-focused activities.
