Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Education Performance and Intelligence Officer to join our Education/Inclusion Team. There are x2 positions available: 37 hours fulltime permanent and 22.2 hours part time temporary for 12 months. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled data and performance professional to play a key role in driving service improvement through high-quality business intelligence, performance analysis and strategic insight. You will lead on the production, analysis and interpretation of key performance information across Education and Inclusion services, supporting effective decision-making and helping to improve outcomes for children and young people. The role involves working closely with managers, partners and senior leaders to develop performance frameworks, produce statutory returns, support inspection activity and provide evidence-based analysis to shape services and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and analyse performance frameworks to support service delivery and performance management
  • Produce and submit accurate and timely statutory and local performance returns for government departments, regulators and inspectors
  • Analyse and interpret complex data, identifying trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Develop detailed reports, dashboards and performance commentary for managers, elected members and partners
  • Use tools such as SQL and Microsoft Power BI to produce high-quality business intelligence and statistical analysis
  • Support the development and effective use of systems including OLM Eclipse, Synergy and other case management systems
  • Work collaboratively with partners to improve joint service performance and reporting processes
  • Contribute to service planning, strategy development and performance improvement activity
  • Undertake benchmarking, research and analysis to identify best practice and inform service delivery
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, guidance and data governance requirements

Hours

37 per week & 22.2 hours per week (working pattern to be agreed) on a hybrid working basis with a requirement to attend the office at Rutland House, Runcorn on Monday's and at least one other day.
