Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You get the contracts and the credibility of an established group, with the freedom of a start up desk and the commission to match.

What you will be doing

  • Taking ownership of the Education division as its first leader, with full commercial responsibility for its growth
  • Billing personally from day one while building the desk out around you
  • Winning and growing school, academy trust and local authority relationships across supply teaching, SEN, tuition and support staff
  • Recruiting, training and managing consultants as the division scales, and shaping how the team works rather than adapting to how it already does
  • Working directly with the founder on strategy, pricing and which contracts we go after next
  • Owning compliance standards for the division, in line with safer recruitment and framework requirements

What we are looking for

  • A proven biller in education recruitment with a track record you can evidence
  • Someone who wants to build a team rather than inherit one, and who is comfortable being hands on while doing it
  • Commercial judgement: you can see where the margin is and go after it
  • Ambitious, hardworking, and bringing good energy to the office every day
  • Solid working knowledge of education compliance and safer recruitment
  • The credibility to sit in front of headteachers, business managers and local authority commissioners

  • Genuine ownership of a division from day one, with the progression that comes with building it
  • Live contracts and frameworks from the moment you start, so you are billing rather than cold starting
  • A group that invests in what works and moves quickly when something is working
