About The Role
Coordinate effective planning, delivery, and measurement of all educational activity and content across the Travel Retail region and retailers. Supporting the Education and Sales functions.
As a Education & Retail Coordinator you will
- Support the Creation and Deployment of Educational Content
- Taking direction from the Head of Education and leveraging the assets available from the Global Education team, create a suite of physical and digital training content for Team Tilbury, covering NPD launches, Start of a Dream follow-up, artistry development, L&D and more by utilising our in-house Learning Management System and authoring tools.
- Plan and deliver the training material required for all NPD launches in time for regional training sessions
- Working closely with multiple stakeholders, share and borrow best practice on content modification and delivery
- Manage the training content and creation required for all field communication, including Start of a Dream, Seasonal Schools, Conferences, pathway development, all branded training material, and any other ad hoc requirements
- Attention to detail in updating/proofreading existing & new training materials
- Create annual/biannual departmental hero videos. Managing the project from initial brief to execution
- Education lead on the internal communications channel featuring department updates and scheduled events

Manage and Monitor the Scheduling and Effectiveness of Training Activity
- Working closely with Retail, Commercial, Pro, Marketing and Retail Operations teams, to manage the Retail calendars. Covering all training activity in the region including the Start of a dream induction programme, all NPD launch training deployment, all artistry certification, and development training
- Ensure all Field Training Managers confirm planned training and store visit dates to monitor delivery across the region
- Support the Field Training Managers in building the format and updates of their regional education plans
- Design & collate all surveys across all Training functions, to provide a summary to key stakeholders.

Event Management
- Lead the planning and delivery of all classroom trainings, including Field Training Managers "train the trainer" sessions, any regional conferences, and any education meetings. For both own staff and non-owned staff retailers. Event planning to include venue hire, all catering, product and hygiene requirements, travel and accommodation, gifting, and content coordination
- Support the Head of Education in the planning and execution of all artistry & L&D certification courses
- Support the Head of Education as co planner of any larger scale events such as Retail Conferences and/or Seasonal Schools
- Organise and support the Head of Education in the delivery of field team meetings, including creation of any tools or documentation required

Budget Planning
- Oversee the forecasting and actualisation of all travel and expense costs from the training team, managing and escalating risks and opportunities in the cost centre, working closely with the Finance planner for the region
- Manage the forecasting, calendar and delivery of gratis to all store teams, working with Supply and Customer Supply Chain to ensure all gratis reaches teams in advance of launch
- Responsible for the replenishment of training kits including the associated budget monitoring and tracking
Who You Will Work With
- Reporting to the Head of Education, TR
- Work closely with Retail Managers & Field Training Managers UK/ EMEA/ME
- No direct reports. However, must have the ability to manage working with roles of all levels (from the Field and Retail Team to General Manager) and teams to coordinate deadlines and requirements
About You
- Flexibility to travel, if required.
- Previous experience in a similar operational role is advantages
- Good understanding of retail environment
- Must be an effective communicator, with excellent English written and verbal skills
- Ideally additional languages of Spanish/French
- Grammar checks and Proof-reading is often required
- Needs to be highly structured and organised
- Personable and approachable; able to build rapport quickly with anyone
- Comfortable working in ambiguity
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities as required
- Team spirited

IT Skills
- Excel at an intermediate level (Will require regular use of formulas such as v-look ups, concatenate, custom filters, tables, and sums etc...)
- PowerPoint - Creation of presentations, with strong attention to detail.
- Outlook - can manage a high amount emails and diary management, effectively.
- Google Docs, Zoom, Photo Editor and Word, also advantages.
