The Role
You will lead the launch and growth of the education side of the business – building relationships with schools, academy groups, and education distributors, and establishing the company's footprint in the sector. Given the international nature of this opportunity, the role is best suited to someone with experience selling into markets beyond the UK; the scope of the territory you cover will grow in line with the strength and reach of your own network.
You will also lead the launch of the company's first UK enrichment centre – not simply setting it up but running it day-to-day once it's live. This includes:
- Evaluating and securing a site for the company’s first UK enrichment centre
- Negotiating commercial terms for the centre
- Recruiting and hiring teachers for the centre
- Booking schools in to send classes, and building a steady stream of visiting students to the centre
- Running the centre day-to-day until it’s established enough to hand over to a dedicated centre manager
- Visiting schools to sell the company’s education services
- Directing marketing agencies on customer acquisition and brand communication
- Running customer visits, online presentations, and trade-show representation
- Identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, using your own network and beyond
This is a home-based, highly market-facing role: opening new doors, running customer visits and online presentations, developing accounts, and following opportunities through to implementation. It's also part project/account management – coordinating with the international team on logistics and external contractors.
Day-to-day includes:
- Building relationships with schools, academy groups, and education distributors
- Evaluating and securing a site for the company’s first UK enrichment centre
- Negotiating commercial terms for the centre
- Recruiting and hiring teachers for the centre
- Booking schools in to send classes, and building a steady stream of visiting students to the centre

- Running customer visits, online presentations, and trade-show representation

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

As Education Sales Executive, you'll have real autonomy to build a market from the ground up, backed by an entrepreneurial, direct, and results-oriented leadership style – considerable freedom, paired with high expectations.
The Company
Our client is a STEM education company headquartered in the EU, built around a proprietary snap-fit construction system. It was created by an engineer-turned-teacher, after watching his students struggle to turn engineering ideas into working models – a problem that still drives the company's mission today: turning curiosity into confidence, and imagination into invention.
The company now operates in 50+ countries, across three divisions:
Toy Retail:
- Age-tiered construction kits – from Junior (3+) through to Professional (12+) – plus robotics, programmable controllers, and companion software including 3D Builder and a programming platform.
STEM Education:
- Robotics, STEM, and makerspace equipment, software, and teacher curriculum for schools from preschool through to secondary.
Franchise:
- Licensed enrichment centres offering the same STEM programme on a commercial basis, built from a proven pilot site.
