Job Title
You will be welcome to work from a range of UK offices on a hybrid basis if preferred, or in a primarily remote capacity.
You will be part of a team that handle a broad range of education matters, including SEN, EHCPs, admissions, exclusions, bullying, and discrimination.
Key Responsibilities
- Owning a caseload of education law matters, including SEND cases
- Advising parents and carers on Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), including assessments, reviews, and appeals
- Representing clients in appeals before the SEND Tribunal
- Advising on school placement disputes, exclusions, and discrimination claims
- Draft correspondence and prepare court bundles
- Liaise with clients, case managers, and other professionals
- Attending court and taking detailed attendance notes

Experience & Attributes Required

- Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
- Demonstrable experience or training seat in education law and SEND matters
- Experience of tribunal advocacy or a strong interest in advocacy
